PROJECT MANAGER

Job description:

 

Responsible for executing and supervising specific projects with the assistance of the assistant project manager, head technician and operations manager. As the project manager, your job is to plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of the specific project you are working on. Project managers may work closely with upper management to make sure that the scope and direction of each project is on schedule, as well as other departments for support.

 

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

 

  • Responsible for the project/job

  • Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects

  • Ensuring that specific project is delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

  • Ensuring resource availability and allocation

  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress

  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs

  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques

  • Gather and review submittals Procurement of all materials and labor necessary for project

  • Supervise technician/helpers on job

  • Reports problem(s)/questions to president

  • Responsible for all project documentation (forms)
